Can my child use mobile and personal electronic devices in the secondary school?

Students, particularly those studying in the Sixth Form, are encouraged to utilise mobile and personal electronic devices when they are used to support learning and only when sanctioned by teachers. However, it is the responsibility of the student to properly secure these items when they are not being used. The school cannot take responsibility for the security of a students’ personal belongings when they are brought onto a school campus. Headphones are personal items which students may find useful especially when using computer suites or computer clusters.
