In which years does my child need a laptop?

Bring Your Own Browser (BYOB) - Secondary Campus
The Secondary Campus supports all students with up to two devices per student, selected from a Windows laptop, Mac laptop, iPad, or Chromebook. This flexibility will allow students who may own both a laptop and tablet to choose which device to bring to school depending on their preference. Student’s registered devices will continue to be protected with a RM 2,000 insurance coverage per student. If a student chooses to register two devices then each device will have coverage of RM 1,000.
Secondary students will need to ensure their BYOB device(s) are within 5 years of age from the manufacturer date. In addition, in order to ensure a smooth wireless Internet experience, the BYOB devices will need to have installed a wireless card that is 802.11ax (WiFi 6th generation) or  802.11ac (WiFi 5th generation).
