British Curriculum

We are one of the leading international schools in Kuala Lumpur, proud of our excellent reputation in providing an outstanding and thriving all-round education based on the British curriculum for 3 to 18 year olds.

As the oldest British international school in Malaysia, our innovative approach to traditional British education curriculum catering for students from Pre-school to Sixth Form (age 3 to 17 years) both enriches and challenges students by offering a holistic and broad range of experiences that prepare them for further education and the competitive global workplace. Find out more about our curriculum below:

Early Years

In the Early Years (Pre-school, Reception, Year1 and Year 2), your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development. Children in Early Years automatically gain a place in the Junior School without further assessment. To join Pre-school your child must be 3 years old on the 31st August prior to the academic year they start school (the academic year runs from 1st September to the 31st August).

Primary Campus

At our Junior School (Years 3 to 6), we highly value stimulating learning experiences. Play-based learning in primary will foster a more well-rounded child and make learning more interesting and hands-on. Students from our Junior School automatically progress to Secondary School with no further assessment test.

Secondary Campus

The Secondary Curriculum (Years 7 to 11) is designed in such a way that it challenges our students and helps them build the skills necessary to be successful in life. Students will study towards GCSEs taken in Year 11.

Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form programme for students aged 16-18 years offers an enriched experience in a caring international community that will prepare them thoroughly for the next step in their life.

Students achieve excellent academic results in A Levels examinations, are given the support they need to apply to the best universities in the world and have exceptional opportunities beyond the classroom to develop their skills and interests outside of the academic curriculum.
