Once a decision to close school is made, it will be communicated in a variety of ways using email, social media, sending an SMS, and placing it on our website.
There may be conditions that necessitate school closure for an extensive period of time and are a major disruption to the annual school calendar, such as a pandemic or poor air quality due to 'haze'.
The health and wellbeing of our community is always our top priority, together with high quality provision for learning and teaching. That being said, despite taking many precautions, we will need to be agile and flexible in responding to the pandemic.
We will be prepared to return to our home based distance learning programmes in the event of any school closure. Learning for all students will continue through our home learning programmes. We understand that a home learning environment poses a different set of challenges for our parents and students and we will continue to do our best to support our community at these challenging times.
