Our students’ wellbeing is a priority for us. Wellbeing support takes place through daily tutor check-ins, student surveys and pastoral follow up by our experienced pastoral teams. Our academic coaching and student mentoring programmes provide students with personalised intervention on a weekly basis. Tutor time also includes guided and personalised 1-2-1 meetings with all students.
Our teachers will reach out to students to check in with the pace of learning and level of understanding. Student communication and engagement is vital here. If students feel themselves falling behind, then they should reach out to their subject teacher directly through the chat function or privately through school email. More complex concerns - individual or family - can be supported and explored through the pastoral teams and the school counselling service.
The counselling service has a supportive GSite for students, staff and parents to access with further information about their services.
