Will my child go on residential trips with the school?

We are dedicated to the all-round development of our students, achieved through a multitude of wider learning opportunities.

Expeditions are seen as an integral part of the school curriculum. They also provide direct experience of a variety of topics, which cannot be covered in the classroom. Letters concerning such expeditions/trips are issued throughout the year.

A residential experience is a vital part of the school curriculum and as such is a compulsory part of each student’s timetable from Year 4 onwards. Trips week at the Secondary Campus is towards the end of Term 3. The cost of trips is included in the annual fess unless a student decides to take a specialised option which may involve an additional payment from parents.

In Trips Week, Year 11 will participate in the World of Work Programme as a vital step to Sixth Form and University entrance.

All trips undergo a thorough risk assessment in advance and for residential trips, the details of which will be shared with parents in the run up to the trip.

You can see more of the experiences on offer on our website here under residential trips.
