Will my child’s class change as they move through the school?

Classes move up together from Year 1 to Year 2, Year 3 to Year 4 and Year 5 to Year 6 in the Primary School. At the end of Reception, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 classes are re-organised to restore the balance of boys/girls, cultural and ability mix and friendship groups.

In the Secondary School your child will remain in the same tutor group from Year 7 to Year 11 and Year 12 to Year 13. Their taught classes will vary dependent on subject and course options chosen by the student.
